Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 11, 2026
1. Who we are
Tap App Jobs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an online hiring platform that helps businesses create job postings and custom application forms, share them by link or QR code, and receive applicant submissions by email (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website and Service.
2. Information we collect
- Account and profile data: such as name, email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider), business or organization details, and preferences you provide when you register or use the Service.
- Workspace and form configuration: including job descriptions, branding or copy you add, and the structure of your custom application forms. We store your form definitions (for example, field labels and types) in a structured format such as JSON so the form builder and public apply flow can render correctly.
- Applicant submissions (not stored by us): when someone completes an application through your published form, we do not retain their answers, uploads, or other application content in our databases. We process that information only as needed to deliver it by email to the administrators of your business account. Once delivered, retention and use of that information is governed by you and your own systems (such as your email provider).
- Usage and device data: such as IP address, browser type, general location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring URLs, and diagnostic or performance data we use to operate and improve the Service.
- Billing data: when you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (for example, Stripe) collects payment method and transaction details. We typically receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status and customer identifiers), not your full card number.
- Communications: including support requests and emails you send us.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- Create and manage your account and workspace;
- Deliver applicant submissions by email to your designated business administrators and operate the form builder and public apply experience you configure;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Job applicants
When someone applies through a form you publish, their information may pass through our systems so we can send it to you by email. We do not keep a copy of completed application responses in the Service after that delivery. As the employer or recruiting business, you are typically responsible under privacy law for telling applicants how you will use their information once you receive it (including in your inbox or other tools). We encourage you to consult counsel and publish a privacy notice that matches your hiring practices.
5. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who assist us (for example, hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing), subject to appropriate safeguards;
- Professional advisors where required (for example, lawyers or accountants);
- Authorities if we believe disclosure is required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security; and
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law.
We do not sell your personal information as that term is commonly defined in U.S. state privacy laws.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Form configurations, job postings, and other workspace content remain until you delete them or close your account. As described above, we do not retain applicant submission content in the Service after it has been emailed to your administrators.
7. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights that apply to you, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your request.
9. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, by email or in-product message).
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at the support channel published on the Tap App Jobs website (for example, your support email). Replace this paragraph with your legal entity name, address, and contact details before going live.
